In the Research Forest Village of the Woodlands, our team played an instrumental role in the development of the
Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC). Our efforts resulted in the first LEED Platinum Certified Building in the Woodlands and Montgomery County which is regarded as the highest environmental building achievement attainable in the United States. Our commitment to sustainable land development remains a core focus and the LEED rating system provides a framework to consistently meet objectives that contribute to a better way of living for everyone.
According to the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED was created in April 1993 by Rick Fedrizzi, David Gottfried, and Mike italiano. Today, we follow the LEED framework for land development projects to optimize functionality for humans while providing eco-friendly footprints that benefit nature. Our LEED-certified buildings are proven to use less energy, water, waste, and lessen the burden on communities.
Careful planning and consideration for the environment enables our group to meet the demands of complex land development projects while maintaining harmony with nature. We embrace the responsibility of preserving natural settings to ensure man-made structures also respect existing habitats. One of the main challenges with intricate land development projects is adherence to the LEED rating system, which requires a strong and diverse technical background we consistently provide to our clients.
