About the Founder
A practicing professional engineer for over forty years, David Vogt’s strong strategic problem solving skills and excellent ability to resolve complex projects have resulted in a variety of successful projects throughout East Texas.
His experience includes over 40 years in civil engineering, site design, soils investigation, environmental risk assessment, water distribution and supply, storm water drainage, flood plain determination, and coordination of utility system approvals with local and state agencies, underground utilities, and roads.
Founder of Vogt Engineering, L.P., David has been an active participant in the growth of Montgomery County beginning with his role as Assistant County Engineer in the early 80’s. Since 1983, Vogt Engineering has provided civil design for many of the trademark buildings in the county.
